Comments should work again

When I disabled user registration a while back, I forgot that comments on this blog require registration… d’oh! Thanks to Christopher for pointing that out. Everyone should now be able to comment to their heart’s content (although there is still a moderation step the first time to avoid spam). I also changed a couple of other settings that should make this site a bit more of a two-way thing (which is how it’s supposed to be).

Christopher also noted that there is no way of contacting me through the site. I will remedy that over the weekend.

Update: I added a contact page with an email address.

User registration disabled

Just a quick note to say that I’ve disabled user registration (as I see no real need for it), and have deleted the bulk of all registered users. Basically, everyone I didn’t recognize and/or who had obvious spam user names are gone. If that accidentally includes you: Apologies! But you don’t really need to be a registered user here anyway.

Back to work, nothing to see here, etc.

Pardon our dust

If you can read this, you are seeing the IGDA Vienna site on it’s new server. Michael Borras, the gracious host of the site until now, and myself moved the site to a different server, so that it’s easier to make changes.

And the first changes are: WordPress 2.7 (which I doubt anyone will notice), and a default theme (which I am sure everyone will notice). It turns out the old theme broke under WP 2.7. Expect several cosmetic and less cosmetic changes over the next few weeks.
